Tasting Notes
Thornbury Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Tasting Notes

This wine displays a vibrant, fresh blend of ripe gooseberry and tropical fruits with crisp refreshing acidity on the finish. Crafted to capture the distinctive character of the Awatere, Wairau and Waihopai valleys.

Food Match

This wine is delicious on its own or enjoy with white meats, vegetarian dishes, salads and seafood.

Winemakers Notes

Fruit was de-stemmed, gently pressed with a portion given extended skin contact to extract pungent varietal aromas. The juice was cool fermented with selected yeasts to maximise and retain as much varietal flavour
and aroma as possible. Lees aging has helped develop the palate weight and further enhanced the intensity and structure of this wine.

Cellaring

Drink now and over the next 1 to 2 years.
